State Parks, Historic Sites, and Recreation Areas in the Finger Lakes

The Finger Lakes offers visitors and residents a wealth of recreational activities, including 35 state parks, historic sites, and recreation areas, four of which have golf courses.

Many of these sites, especially the parks with gorges and waterfalls, have interesting geological and human histories. Be sure to pick up a brochure at the entrance to the site and read it before you start exploring, so that you get the most out of your site experience.
