The course sits on a plateau above the southern shore of Lake Ontario where the soil is natural sandy with good drainage. The land undulates, sometimes considerably. There are four water hazards at holes 4, 5, 11, and 16. Sand traps are minimally used and discretely placed. Trees are mature but shouldn't deter from a good golfer's game.

Although there is no driving range, you can practice your putts on one of two practice putting green--one with two holes, the other with 3 holes and a sand trap.
