Designed by famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, Highland Park is an arboretum with thousands of trees and shrubs. The park is at its best in the spring and early summer when the plants are in bloom. Lamberton Conservatory and Lilac Arches are available for small weddings and receptions. The summer home of banker Frederick Ferris and Mary Clark Thompson, Sonnenberg is one of the most extensively preserved country estates from the late Victorian era. The property includes 50 acres of gardens, a 40-room Queen Anne-style mansion, greenhouse complex, and Japanese tea house. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Housed in the historic Bay House near the Conservatory is the Finger Lakes Wine Center.
