Southern Fruit Ambrosia

Back in the gold old days, this salad was usually made with canned fruit cocktail and served with tiny marshmallows in it. Times have changed, but the idea of the luscious fruit mixture with a creamy dressing lives on. This salad goes particularly will with baked ham.

SOUTHERN FRUIT AMBROSIA

Fruits (unpeeled apples, bananas, grapes, pineapple, peaches, pears, plums, blueberries, orange sections, cantaloupe, honeydew melon)

Honey Cream Dressing

Shredded coconut

Fresh mint

Slice the fruit as desired and combine it in a large glass bowl. Spoon the dressing over and sprinkle the coconut over the top. Chill thoroughly before serving. Garnish with fresh mint.
