Taking to the Air in the Finger Lakes

The Finger Lakes has a strong history in aviation, beginning with Glenn H. Curtiss in the early 20th century, whose contribution to flight, many in the Finger Lakes would say, surpassed that of the Wright brothers. Curtiss's legacy is carried on by NASA astronaut Eileen Collins and the many Finger Lakes residents who enjoy taking to the air.
