Robert Ingersoll Birthplace Museum

Period: 1825-1899

Focus: The life of Robert Green Ingersoll (1833-1899), a successful attorney, abolitionist, and promoter of women's rights. He was considered one of the great orators of his time. He lived only the first few months of his life in this house at which time his family moved out of the area. The house is now owned by the Council for Secular Humanism.

Focus: The life and times of Dr. Andrew Oliver (1792-1857). Furnished in the Victorian style. Home of the Yates County Genealogical & Historical Society.

L. Caroline Underwood Museum

Period: 1925-1999

Focus: Former residence of Lucy Caroline Underwood, a local teacher, the museum contains many domestic tools from the 1940s to the 1960s and items from Underwood's personal local history collection. Owned by the Yates County Genealogical & Historical Society.
