Focus: Local history. Home of the Corning Painted Post Historical Society, this former tavern built in 1796 has period room settings, local history artifacts, and a gift shop. The Society also owns the Wixson Road log house, the Starr Barn and attached blacksmith shop, and the 1878 Browntown District Schoolhouse.
