Finger Lakes International Dragon Boat Festival

When: Saturday and Sunday in mid-July

Annual event sponsored by the Ithaca Asian American Association, the main feature of which is a series of races of the beautiful dragon boats with their crews of 22. Food, crafts, performers, and the "dragon trail," a series of restaurants in Ithaca that participate in the festivities.

Cortland Celtic Festival

When: 4th Saturday in August

Celtic rock bands, pipe bands, step dancing trials, celtic games, sheep dog demonstrations, vendors. The tickets for the Celtic rock concert should be purchased on-line (see Web site) as they sell out quickly. There is a ticket raffle held during the concert.

Genundowa, The Festival of Lights
