Times have changed, but the idea of the luscious fruit mixture with a creamy dressing lives on. This salad goes particularly will with baked ham.
SOUTHERN FRUIT AMBROSIAFruits (unpeeled apples, bananas, grapes, pineapple, peaches, pears, plums, blueberries, orange sections, cantaloupe, honeydew melon) Shredded coconut Fresh mint
Slice the fruit as desired and combine it in a large glass bowl. Spoon the dressing over and sprinkle the coconut over the top. Chill thoroughly before serving. Garnish with fresh mint.
