Honey Cream Dressing

This is rich and luscious and elegantly accompanies any fancy molded fruit or chicken salad. There will be no discussion of calories here.

 

HONEY CREAM DRESSING

1 cup Mayonnaise

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons honey

¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 cup whipped cream

 

Stir together all the ingredients, except the whipped cream, and blend well. Gently fold in the whipped cream and serve immediately. This dressing will keep in the refrigerator but will become thinner as the whipped cream breaks down.

 

Yield: About 2 cups
