Other Great Bike Routes in the Finger LakesGenesee Valley Park to the Lake Ontario Shore and Back (Along the Genesee River through Rochester) See also¶ Finger Lakes Touring Bike Trails ¶ The Inn-to-Inn touring project along the Erie Canalway Trail presents bike riders with a planned trip along the state's premier historical and recreational trail with accommodations available at lovely bed and breakfasts and country inns. Hint: For best effect, print this brochure on 8 x 14 paper with colored ink. ¶ The Seaway Trail--a 454-mile route paralleling Lake Erie, the Niagara River, Lake Ontario, and the St. Lawrence River. ¶ The Central Destinations of the Finger Lakes Region offers a free 32-page brochure with maps of hiking trails and on-road biking trips. ¶ The Northern Tier Bike Route is a cross-country route running from Bar Harbor, Maine to Anacortes, Washington. In the process, the route crosses through the northern section of the Finger Lakes, skirting along Lake Ontario and incorporating a portion of the Erie Canal Trail.
