Quilting in the Finger Lakes

This large, unnamed, quilted banner by Alice grant depicts Pennsylvania Quaker artist Edward Hicks, creating animals for his work The Peaceable Kingdom. The banner is in the permanent collection of the Tompkins County Public Library (Ithaca, New York) and hangs in the children's reading room.
